The sixth batch of Glenallachie's cask strength 10 Year Old has been matured in a combination of Pedro Ximenez and oloroso sherry puncheons, as well as a small number of virgin oak and ex-Rioja wine casks.
Aromas of heather honey, dark chocolate, mocha, cinnamon, almonds and orange peel fill the nose, complemented by notes of dark chocolate, honey-glazed almonds, heather, marmalade, grapefruit and cinnamon throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
